It’s never too soon to learn good savings habits. Our Youth accounts encourage kids and young adults to save and manage their money — and make good financial decisions now and in the future. With DCU Youth accounts, a little grows a long way.

Youth accounts are in the name of the minor, with an adult as joint on the account.

• For children up to 12 years old
• No monthly service fee
• $5 opening and minimum balance requirement
• Account in name of the minor with adult as joint

• $5 opening and minimum balance requirement for Savings
• Account in name of the minor with adult as joint
• ATM card available at age 13
• Checking with Visa^® debit card available at age 16
• Includes online, mobile and text banking
• Converts to regular Primary Savings on 18th birthday
